Such a great post! I'm really happy you had such a good festival. I know you have said before that you are nervous to speak in public but count me in the group of folks who really never see you that way...I can never tell you are nervous or scared. You totally nailed the main ritual, apparently the workshop from everything I heard (sorry I missed it but I didnt want to make you guys nervous and you had it all under control) and the wreath contest too.
As for letting Michael manage the weirdness with other adults, that is a really awesome mama move...and I understand how hard it must have been. good for you for finding sneaky ways to make sure he was okay, and of course he is so beloved by everyone that we just wanted to kill the ahole who woke him up, etc. I loved when he and I went back to the cabin together and chatted before falling asleep.
